![]() The Grenville Co-operative Credit Union continues to invest in the Nations youths. On Tuesday the GCCU donated schools supplies namely pencils, pens and exercise books to three primary schools in St Andrew. The schools on the receiving end of the GCCU’s generosity were the St Michaels RC in Byelands, St Mary’s RC La Fillette and the St Andrew’s Anglican Primary. These three institutions are all adopted by the Grenville Cooperative Credit Union and each benefit to the sum of EC $10,000 annually. The Grenville Credit Union was represented by Business Development Officer Brendon Richards, Acting Manager Ms. Christine Moore and Marketing Manager Francis St. Hillaire. During Tuesday’s presentation St. Hillaire said, “The Grenville Credit Union is committed to working with the community and the school is the best place to cultivate that relationship”. According to St Hillaire, “Education is the only weapon that can break the vicious poverty cycle and GCCU will endeavor to do all it can to ensure that students have the necessary tools to afford them an opportunity of a proper education”. |
